No mystery, no surprises
You shouldn't have to call three places and decode three vague answers just to learn what a tuning costs. Here's what we charge, plainly — you'll know the number before we knock on your door.
All prices plus 13% HST. Promo rates apply to services completed by December 31, 2026.
Introductory promotion. The promotional rates above apply to services completed on or before December 31, 2026. After that, our regular rates apply: Service Call $115, Standard Tuning $160, and Pitch Raise + Tuning $230 — all plus HST.
A note on travel. Prices cover Toronto and the core GTA. For locations well outside that range, a small mileage charge may apply — just ask when you book and we'll tell you up front.
Before any extra work. If your piano needs more than a standard tuning, we'll explain it and agree the price with you before starting. No surprises.
What's included. Every visit finishes with a quick health check of the action and pedals, and an honest heads-up about anything worth watching before the next tuning.

Standard Tuning
A precise tuning to A440 for a piano maintained within the last year. About 90 minutes, plus a quick health check.
Pitch Raise + Tuning
A two-pass correction for pianos that have drifted well below pitch after years untouched or a move.
Repair & Regulation
Sticking keys, buzzes, uneven touch — small fixes on the spot, honest estimates for anything bigger.
Service Packages
Pre-paid plans for churches, schools, studios and busy households. Priority scheduling, better rates.

How much does piano tuning cost in Toronto?
Our standard tuning is $160 — $140 on intro rates through December 31, 2026. Across the GTA market, tunings run roughly $150–$240, so you're getting senior technicians at the accessible end of the range. Full market breakdown: our piano tuning cost guide.
Why do some pianos cost more to get in tune?
Time since the last tuning. A piano that's drifted well below pitch needs a pitch raise — a two-stage correction ($230, intro $210) — before a fine tuning will hold. It's the only common reason a first visit costs more than the standard rate.
Are there travel fees anywhere in the GTA?
No. Toronto, York, Peel, Durham — one rate everywhere in our service area, from Etobicoke to Whitby, Oakville to Newmarket.
Do repairs cost extra during a tuning?
Minor fixes — a sticky key, a squeaky pedal, a buzz — are typically handled on the spot as part of the visit. Anything larger gets a written quote before work begins, always.
Is the intro pricing really the full service?
Yes — same technicians, same unhurried by-ear tuning, same 30-day guarantee. The intro rate ($140 tuning / $210 pitch raise / $75 service call) runs through December 31, 2026.
